We visited Italy to host seminars in May, and once again were interviewed by DIGITAL VOICE magazine. We felt honored to have this opportunity to introduce our company and talk about our products and future plans. See the full contents of interview below.

"Integrated solutions that simplify the Management of connected network equipment"

The DrayTek technical seminars have just been completed, held in two stages in Turin and Milan on 16/17 May, high interest of workmen who had the opportunity to master technical aspects of products, as well as new features introduced to facilitate their management. The seminars were led by Fabio Scardoni, technical manager of DrayTek Italia and Henry Lo, an engineer at DrayTek Taiwan.

We interviewed Mr. Ethan Tai, DrayTek's Sales Manager for Italy:

Mr. Ethan Tai, who is DrayTek and where is placed on the market?

DrayTek is a Taiwanese company founded in 1997 with headquarters in Hsin-Chu, Taiwan, producing firewall, VPN, VoIP, xDSL and fiber solutions

DrayTek has 240 members worldwide, of whom 60% engineers and designers, 75% of production is shipped to Europe and 12% in Asia.

DrayTek products are placed in the category of SMEs. What makes them competitive is the high degree of security, reliability, flexibility and easy management of all features at no extra cost.

The market is evolving, how is DrayTek moving to remain the leader of its market share?

The increase of network equipment inevitably generates a greater complexity of its management, DrayTek has focused on offering integrated solutions in the devices to simplify it. 

Our goal is to create a system that can easily control all networked devices from a single interface. Through a single DrayTek router interface, it is possible to manage both remote connections (VPNs), switches and the access points on the network, all at a simple and cost-free rate. With our ACS 2 Centralized Management Software, you can also control a large number of remote CPEs, greatly facilitating network administrators to install, manage, and maintain their devices.

How is DrayTek organized on the International market?

We can count on about 70 Partners all over the world, including 31 in Europe and 12 in Asia, the rest In Africa, Middle East, North America, Latin America and Oceania. All of them are certified from us, able to take care of both technical and commercial aspects of their regional market. DrayTek from its part undertakes to maintain its Partners updated, to allow them to offer the best Service to their customers and give them tools to make the most of the peculiarities of DrayTek products.

How are you placed on the Italian market ?
