DrayTek Announces New Model - VigorSwitch P2280

DrayTek is going to add an L2 managed switch to the PoE VigorSwitch family, the VigorSwitch P2280. Like the VigorSwitch P1280 released earlier, VigorSwitch P2280 also has 24 PoE+/PoE capable ports with a total power budget of 340 watts and 4 Gigabit SFP/UTP combo ports but provides more advanced features to increase the security, efficiency, and availability of the enterprise network. The key features of VigorSwitch P2280 include:

  • Port-based and 802.1Q tag-based VLAN that allows network segment to improve security and efficiency of the network
  • QoS with 8 priority queues and rate limiting feature to optimize bandwidth allocation
  • Auto Voice VLAN for easy VoIP deployment and better call quality
  • Dual-stack IPv4/IPv6 capability
  • A brand-new user interface design which makes configuration and monitoring easier
  • Compliant with Switch Management feature of Vigor Router
