We are pleased to announce that, in co-operation with OpenVPN Technologies, we will be adding support for OpenVPN to DrayTek routers.

OpenVPN is a relatively new VPN protocol that has been gaining traction, so it is no surprise that we have been receiving numerous inquiries about the possibility of incorporating OpenVPN in our products. Not only will this make DrayTek products more versatile, but users will also benefit by having access to an easy-to-use and secure alternative to existing VPN protocols. And since DrayTek products are especially popular with business users, OpenVPN will have increased exposure in the business segment. We believe this will be a win-win situation for end users, DrayTek, and OpenVPN alike.

At present, Vigor2960 is the first router to be integrated with OpenVPN (fw version 1.4.0). Afterward, such feature will be added to other models like Vigor3900, Vigor2862 and Vigor2926.
