Note 1 - Mesh Setup Steps Recommendation

1Configure Mesh Root SSID/PSK/Admin password…etc

2 Place mesh members close to Mesh Root. Scan and add members into mesh group. Mesh Root pushes configurations to Mesh Nodes.

3 Move Mesh Nodes to the designated positions. Power on Mesh Nodes, and make sure their status are online.

Done! The Mesh Group is ready to serve the clients.

Note 2 - Router-based APM

Vigor2136ax is the new DrayOS 5 router which supports Virtual Controller integrates both Vigor Mesh and AP Management protocols, enabling the simultaneous management of multiple Access Points connected via wired or wireless links (with Mesh enabled) within the same network. The number of compatible managed APs is defined by the Virtual Controller's device list, supporting one root AP (the device itself) and up to seven wirelessly connected APs. And Vigor2136ax's total APM manageable nodes keeps sames as total in 20 nodes either Wired or Wireless.
